Fansa walks with women and young families at the root of social challenge in Northern Nigeria.

In a constantly evolving world of social change, most Northern Nigerian societies are still deeply entrenched in segregational cultural models.

WHAT WE DO

One walk

Our team of volunteers do not simply work but walk with individual women via a holistic rather than thematic approach. We cater to root issues among carefully selected women according to their degree of need – the most vulnerable amongst whom are widows and extremely poor families in small community pockets. Fansa has, from its inception, facilitated minimal trade grants and soft loans to a cluster of women in very dire circumstances to augment their businesses. The outcomes have been impressive.
